Marta Kryschuk

Mobile Integrated Health Project Coordinator and EMS State Data Manager at the Rhode Island Department of Health’s Center for Emergency Medical Services

Marta Kryschuk began her EMS career in 2018, quickly advancing to the position of EMS Lieutenant, a role she still holds while continuing to work as a Paramedic. Along with a range of EMS certifications and licenses, Marta is certified in ACLS, PALS, HandTevy, TECC, and as a Stop the Bleed Instructor. Her passion for EMS extends to teaching EMT and Advanced EMT-Cardiac classes, where she is dedicated to helping students become exceptional healthcare providers.

Marta holds a B.S. in Biology, with a focus in neuropsychology, from Providence College. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted five months of research in genomics, publishing her findings with the American Society of Microbiology. In her senior year, Marta was accepted into an Anthropology and Archaeology Program in Athens, Greece, where she spent five months immersing herself in culture and history.

After completing her undergraduate degree, Marta earned a Master of Science in Immunology and Infectious Disease from Drexel University's College of Medicine. In 2023, she took on the role of Mobile Integrated Health Project Coordinator and EMS State Data Manager at the Rhode Island Department of Health’s Center for Emergency Medical Services. In this capacity, she provides resources, education, training, and data collection support to ensure the success of MIH programs in local communities. Marta also oversees the use of data systems for Rhode Island EMS agencies in her role as EMS Data Manager. Additionally, she is an active member of NASEMSO, NAMIHP, and serves as the secretary of the Rhode Island Trauma Systems Advisory Committee.
