Lisa Uebelacker, PhD

Dr. Uebelacker is a Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is also Director of Research at Butler Hospital and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Her research interests center on developing and testing interventions to improve mental and physical health in people with depression, chronic pain, medical conditions such as HIV, and opioid use disorder. Specifically, she has developed and tested yoga interventions, interventions to promote physical activity, and behavioral health interventions integrated into medical settings.
