James Day, Health Program Administrator for the CDC grant “Community Health Workers for COVID Response and Resilient Communities”. Before joining RIDOH in the Spring of 2022, I worked for many years as a consultant for drug prevention coalitions in RI, specifically in Providence, Newport, and Newport County. My career has been spent working in non-profits (John Hope Settlement House, Providence YMCA, and the Pawtucket YMCA) that have a strong mission of community wellness for all our neighbors.
