Elijah McCray, B.S

Elijah McCray, B.S., is currently at Preventing Overdose and Naloxone Intervention completing an AmeriCorps VISTA term as the Training Coordinator, with the intent of improving harm reduction messaging and overdose response throughout Rhode Island, especially for marginalized communities.

Elijah is passionate about furthering equitable research that will lead to interventions that can bridge significant health gaps, as evidenced through his current work on the Harm Reduction Survey and past work with the Center for the Study of Children at Risk, the CAH Kids Lab at USC Keck School of Medicine, and the Dennery/Yao Lab at Brown University. He is an alumnus of Brown University ‘24, where he received an Sc. B. in Biology, and will be applying to medical school in the 2025-2026 cycle.
